Now, Wild Bill's boss, Miami crime syndicate kingpin Victor Crost, decides that it's time to handle matters personally, because Wild Bill's men are not doing a good job of it. Shane is soon faced with impossible odds and a low number of staff members at the Black Pelican. Curtis' murder theory gains greater plausibility when another husband of a Comfort House resident is found dead. At the same time, Wendy notices that she is being stalked by someone driving a dark colored pickup truck, she believing her stalker's end goal being to implicate her as the murderer.
